We know you're busy. You might feel that you're doing things right, but maybe you aren't doing the right things as the district's communication officer? Is your work as a communication professional demonstrating the indispensable role of the communication function in school leadership? In this workshop NSPRA President Tom DeLapp, a veteran of 40 years in public affairs communications, will walk us through the process of being a key strategic adviser for the superintendent and leadership team in your district. Communication is the essential "hydraulic fluid" that enables organizational effectiveness, shared vision, innovation, and change. To build a communicating culture in your schools it needs to start by having a seat at the leadership table. Learn how to make that happen.
