Public Relations Specialist is Needed for Evanston-based Rotary International

Evanston-based ROTARY INTERNATIONAL seeks an experienced PUBLIC RELATIONS SPECIALIST.

The Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and supporting Rotary’s Public Image Coordinators. A minimum of three years’ experience, a bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or communications required; international experience desired.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, globally-minded person to coordinate and support the activities of the Rotary Public Image Coordinators (RPICs) as well as other Rotary efforts to enhance its public image. Supporting the RPIC volunteer network includes coordinating training and support, communications, and budget administration.  Excellent writing, communication, project management, inter-personal and administrative skills essential.  A working understanding of public relations tools, strong analytical skills, and an ability to manage multiple priorities essential.  Additional language fluency and cross-cultural experience helpful.
