Mentor

So you recently landed your dream job: promoting public education in a local school district. The superintendent has given you a laundry list of tasks to accomplish and also expects you to be a strategic communications advisor. One week into the new job, a crisis occurs requiring professional communication and flawless execution. What to do first, where can you turn for help?

INSPRA offers a mentoring program to any school public relations professional new to the field or to schools. Each interested new member will be matched up with a seasoned veteran for one year.

This is a person you can call on with questions or for advice and to build a relationship with someone who shares your challenges and frustrations. There is also special programming for new professionals and mentors.
