Focus Group Training
In response to members’ requests, INSPRA is proud to offer this special six-hour seminar to train participants to professionally facilitate focus groups.
David Luther, director of school-community relations for the Jefferson City Public Schools in Jefferson City, Mo., will lead the training. David has conducted both internal focus groups and focus groups for school districts throughout the state of Missouri. David has presented on the value of research, developing focus groups, and other areas of communications to the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), the Missouri Association of School Administrators, and the Missouri School Boards’ Association.
All trained participants will be invited to join a Focus Group Consortium. One of the keys to professional focus group research is for someone outside the district to facilitate focus groups. However, this can be an expensive endeavor. As a member of the consortium, you will receive low-cost facilitation services from other trained members, and in return, be available to provide similar services for other members of the consortium.
