Distinguished Service Awards

The Distinguished Service Awards program honors board members, administrators, teachers, support staff, parents, students and team efforts who work to enhance the image of education in their districts, and/or foster understanding through engagement or communication efforts.

 

Two awards of this event are the PR Ambassador of the Year Award, and the PR Professional of the Year.

 

The 2010 program is set for May 7, 2010 at Meridian Banquets in Rolling Meadows. Reception and registration begins at 8:30 a.m. - breakfast is at 9:15 a.m. Cost is $30 per person. To register for the Awards Breakfast, click here.

 

Nominations are submitted from school districts across the state and judged based on how the nominee helps support or improve understanding and communication in a school and/or district.

 

Districts may submit one nomination per category. All nominations must be submitted as an essay of not more than 600 words. All entries must be submitted electronically as a word document along with a nomination form. Deadline for entries is March 12, 2010.
