Welcome to the INSPRA website!  I hope you are able to find valuable information and assistance on your school communications issues on this site! 

This has been a busy summer so far for your INSPRA Board of Directors.  We met in June to plan for this upcoming year.  One of our primary focuses was trying to identify ways to increase the value of an INSPRA membership to our current and prospective members.  If you have ideas on this, please don’t hesitate to call or e-mail me with your suggestions!

Some of us were also able to travel to Charlotte, North Carolina for the NSPRA Annual Seminar.  This is always an excellent event, full of great educational sessions, incredible networking opportunities and a few moments of fun thrown in between.  If you are able to, I strongly urge you to consider going to next year’s Seminar in San Antonio, Texas.  If that doesn’t work for you, I certainly hope you will be able to come to the 2012 National Seminar that will be hosted by INSPRA and located in Chicago!  In fact, we are looking to get many people involved in this major undertaking.  The NSPRA seminar that was held in Chicago the summer of 2005 is still talked of as one of the best ever!  We have a great reputation to live up to!  If you are interested in helping out, please contact Carla Erdey, our Greater Chicago Regional Director.

INSPRA’s mission is to strengthen support for Illinois public schools and to improve education for students through responsible public relations.  One of the ways we do this is by supporting those who practice school public relations and communications.  We can do that best if we hear from you, our members, and you let us know how we can best help you.  Thank you for visiting our website.  Thank you in advance for your input.
